Cashman VS Williams: Who Knew?

Is there a feud going on between Bernie Williams and Brian Cashman? Peter Abraham seems to think so. Apparently Cashman had some not-so-nice things to say about Williams at a lecture at William Paterson University in New Jersey last week. Cashman was reported to have said that Bernie concentrated on his music more than baseball during the 2005 season "and that took away from his play."

At a charity event last night, Abraham asked Williams about Cashman's remarks. Bernie said the accusations were unfounded and he wants to talk to Cashman about it.

I don't know either of these men personally, but from what I've heard about them, I'm sure they'll be able to straighten this out and, eventually, Bernie Williams will return, in some role, to the only team he's ever played on.
