Another Successful HOPE Week For The Yankees

For the past four years the New York Yankees have held HOPE Week, a week-long celebration of individuals and organizations who have done something to make the world a better place. The HOPE in HOPE Week stands for "helping others persevere and excel." Each honoree this week has done something to advance this slogan, whether directly or indirectly.

The team paid a surprise visit to a different person or group everyday this week. My favorite out of all of them was Jorge Munoz, known as the Angel Of Queens. For 8 years, Mr Munoz and his family have used their own money to prepare hot meals for hungry homeless people in the borough of Queens in New York City.

There were tears in my eyes after I watched his story. So, be warned. Here it is:

Truly an angel.
