Ladies At The Bat: Friday Links

Pitching, pitching, pitching. This week's ladies linkfest is all about the guys who give it all they've got every fifth day:

RebelYankeeChick is one of many who think Andy Pettitte's broken bone spells trouble for the New York Yankees.

Jane Heller echos these sentiments over at Confessions Of A She-Fan.

At Tales From The Juice Box, Terri writes about how good Astros pitching has been lately.

Ronnie has written a review of Juan Marichal's new book at Garlic Fries And Baseball.

Read about how Matt Capps landed on the DL at K-Bros Baseball Blog.

Other Notes:

* The Yankees HOPE Week celebration ended today with a surprise visit by team members to the Children's Alopecia Project. My favorite HOPE Week story took place earlier in the week. I will post a little something about it shortly.

* After last night's 4-3 loss to the White Sox, Joe Girardi said he hadn't wanted to use Robertson on back-to-back days so soon after his injury. Of course, as we all know, he ended up using him later in that fateful inning. I think he's wrong. With two-fifths of the rotation down, you have to do everything you can to win games the other pitchers start, especially games that precede ones that rookie pitchers start. The Yankees could very well lose their second straight game tonight.

Enjoy the links, everyone!
