Toward the end of Spring Training we will start getting answers to many of the questions Yankees Universe has about its team. Here are 10 of those questions, in no particular order:
1- Will Derek Jeter have a successful comeback from the injury he suffered during the postseason last year?
2- Will Mariano Rivera have a successful comeback from the injury he suffered, early in the regular season?
3- How will the catching situation flesh out? Will the job go to Cervelli or Stewart, or will the Yankees make a deal?
4- What will happen with Alex Rodriguez? Will he be found "guilty?" Will he wear pinstripes this season?
5- Will the Yankees make progress toward an extension for Robinson Cano?
6- Can Ichiro Suzuki build on the great start he had to his Yankee career?
7- Will right-handed reliever Mark Montgomery, a highly touted prospect, make his Major League debut this year?
8- How will the back end of the rotation (Hughes, Nova, etc) perform in 2013?
9- Can Kevin Youkilis be a suitable substitute for Alex Rodriguez?
10- Will Curtis Granderson cut down on his strikeouts?
These are tough questions. Today, however, we need not worry about them. We only need to enjoy the holiday that today is.
Happy Pitchers and Catchers Day!

Don't know about strikeouts but had that stunned moment when you realize the MLB leader in home runs since 2011 is...........Curtis Granderson.
"...Curtis Granderson."
Which is why the strikeouts won't decrease. Teams will tolerate them as long as he keeps hitting the ball out of the park.
