Wrigley Field's famous manually-operated scoreboard was the thought behind the latest farewell gift to Yankees captain Derek Jeter.
The number "2" from the scoreboard, installed in 1937 at the iconic park, which opened 100 years ago.
Analysis: Is that all? I understand the significance of the scoreboard, and of the park itself. I also am aware that Jeter played only a handful of games on the North Side. However, I still feel that this gift was a bit lacking, in, I don't know, everything? Yes, everything.
Rating: On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being garbage and 10 being perfect-- 5
It'll be interesting to see what the South Siders have in store for Jeter later this weekend.
