6/17 TOR Marcus Stroman vs. NYY Masahiro Tanaka | Avg. Price: $117.31 | Get-in Price: $19
The Yankees have had to deal with a lot of problems in their rotation this season, making Masahiro Tanaka’s performance even more valuable. He is 10-1 for a rotation that doesn’t even have another five-game winner, and he’s just one of two pitchers to pitch over 60 innings this season. Not to mention one of the top ERAs, WARs and FIPs in the entire league. Not surprisingly the game is the most expensive of the series with Yankees vs. Blue Jays tickets averaging $117.31. The get-in price is the only one in double digits at $19.
6/18 TOR Mark Buehrle vs. NYY Chase Whitley | Avg. Price: $59.88 | Get-in Price: $5
Another pleasant surprise for the Yankees has been the play of rookie Chase Whitley. Called up out of necessity, Whitley has gotten better in every start, earning his first two career wins his last two times out. He also pitched into the seventh inning both times, while sporting a WHIP of 1.01 after issuing just three walks in his six starts this season. He hasn’t given up more than three runs this season, and he’s only given up that much once. But even with Mark Buehrle on the opposing him for the Blue Jays, this is the cheapest game of the series. The average price for a ticket is $59.88 and the get-in price is just $5. That’s even with a Dunkin Donuts gift card giveaway at the game.
6/19 TOR Drew Hutchison vs. NYY David Phelps | Avg. Price: $87.25 | Get-in Price: $8
David Phelps has been one of the Yankees most consistent pitchers this season, which should help illustrate how much their rotation has struggled with performance and injury. But fans will still be treated to a Teixeira bobblehead for going to the game. Tickets are averaging $87.25 and the get-in price is $8.
