The A-Rod Apology Letter: The End Of A Sad & Sordid Chapter?

Whoever told Alex Rodriguez to do this is a genius. This is even better than using Derek Jeter's Player's Tribune site (which he was rumored to be considering).

All I can say is that I hope this really is the end of this sad and sordid chapter.  I am reminded of a Spring Training years ago when A-Rod admitted that his friendship with Derek Jeter had cooled. He then vowed  not to say anything about the matter again.  Even when asked about it he kept his promise and said nothing.  If he can handle this matter in the same manner, it will go a long way toward avoiding making himself into a distraction during the 2015 season.

Update, 3:37pm: Well, that didn't last long. Michael Kay just announced on his radio show that A-Rod agreed to an interview with ESPN The Magazine.  The article will be "released" in a day or two.  So much for saying nothing. Ridiculous.
