Peter Abraham On "A Show Of Their Own"

I'm very happy to announce that on tonight's installment of "A Show Of Their Own," our special guest will be Yankee beat writer Peter Abraham. I think most Yankee fans know about Pete's popular blog, The LoHud Yankees Blog, in which he writes about the day-to-day happenings in Yankees Universe. Well, tonight you'll get a chance to hear the guy you've been reading!

My co-host Brittany and I will have lots of questions for Pete, so tune in tonight at 9:00 PM Eastern for this very special show!

Out Of The Mouths of New Sites

So for the last six months or so I've been working on developing this new baseball site. It's called Out Of Write Field. It's all about Major League Baseball from the point of view of independent baseball bloggers. I'm still working out some of the kinks but, it's live now and I'm so excited!

I'll be making a more formal announcement in the coming weeks, but I wanted to mention it here first. Please visit and, if you like what you see, you can sign up for free to be a member. In addition to baseball news and information, lots of other things are planned for members, including forums, contests and other interactive features. All are welcome, whether you're a blogger or not. Enjoy!

Busy Days Ahead

Well readers, posting to this blog has been a little difficult lately. Between setting up and managing a corporate blog and preparing to launch a new site of my own, I've been a very busy lady. Now, with Spring Training a little less than a month away, things are going to get even busier.

In fact, for baseball fans it's been one of the busiest and craziest off-seasons in years. Contrary to the worries of a close friend of mine, I knew that I'd have plenty to blog about once the 2007 season ended. But little did I know I'd be posting as much as I have been! Johan Santana, The Mitchell Report, Joe Torre, Hank Steinbrenner...the list goes on. It's like the season never ended.

I'll have more to say about the new site in the next couple of weeks. Until then, keep visiting to find out the latest news and views by a woman who loves the game.
